Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a Carleton student that occurred Nov. 15.
A female student was allegedly assaulted on the 1100-block of Colonel By Drive at around 1:30 p.m., according to police.
“The Ottawa police did receive a call regarding an assault that did take place with a student,” Const. Chuck Benoit said.
The victim was transported to hospital, “and is still in hospital at this time,” according to Ottawa police.
Police cannot provide any more information at this time, due to the ongoing investigation. No charges have been laid.
According to CTV News, the victim’s family said the suspect is known to the young woman.
