The Rideau River Residence Association (RRRA) has announced that it will not be releasing election results as planned this evening.
On March 9, residence students voted for the association’s 2018-19 executive candidate. While voting closed at 9 p.m., an announcement to the elections office Facebook page dated 11:15 p.m. stated that the results were delayed due to an investigation underway by chief electoral officer Kieran Moloney and deputy electoral officer Niall Gladdy.
“We appreciate your patience and acknowledge this is a stressful time,” the statement reads, but no further information is provided.
The statement said the office hopes to release unofficial results on March 10.
