UPDATE: Water was restored to all buildings on campus by 4:44 p.m.
A water main issue on campus near the City of Ottawa LRT construction site left Carleton University residences as well as the Minto CASE, Canal Building, Nicol Building and St. Patrick’s Building without water or cooling from the morning of Sep. 13 until 12:10 p.m.
Update: Campus Water Main Issue
Water service has been restored to all buildings on campus with the exception of Prescott House. Cooling is restored in all buildings. Crews are continuing work on the water line. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.— CU_VPFA (@CU_VPFA) September 13, 2022
At 9:38 a.m., City of Ottawa crews began restoring the water, which has now been restored to all buildings on campus with the exception of Prescott House.
