Alexa MacKie is the Charlatan's 2025-26 Arts Editor, previously serving as a 2025 Summer News Editor and the 2024-25 Managing Editor. She is a fourth-year journalism and law student at Carleton. She has worked or freelanced for the Ottawa Citizen, the Toronto Star, Canada's National Observer, Intermission Magazine and more. Her fact-checking work appears in Maisonneuve Magazine and Maclean's Magazine. She enjoys musical theatre, films and television, books, F1 and El Camino tacos.
