Why are you running for CUSA council?
I’m presenting my candidacy to change our on-campus culture, to build more equitable and accessible spaces, and to show that a student union should be about issues.
What do you think makes you a good candidate?
I’m a good candidate because I refuse to shy away from controversy and because I take issues seriously as a part of supporting students.
What are two things you hope to achieve if elected?
I hope to strengthen our safe(r) spaces and to incorporate anti-oppressive and intersectional analyses into CUSA’s work.
What’s one fun fact about yourself?
I have a slightly unhealthy and obsessive love of chamomile tea.
