An unconscious male on an OC Transpo bus at Carleton was transported to hospital by paramedics Oct. 25, according to Allan Burns, Carleton’s director of university safety.

The bus was parked outside the Unicentre bus stop, where Ottawa Police Servies, Ottawa Fire Services, Ottawa Paramedic Services, campus safety special constables, and OC Transpo special constables were on the scene.

It’s unclear at this point why the man was unconscious. The man wasn’t a Carleton student, Burns said.

Campus safety received a call at 8 p.m. from Ottawa Fire Services, who were responding to the original call, Burns said.

JP Trottier, public information officer for Ottawa Paramedic Services, confirmed the man was transported and treated.
