Cullen Bird is a second-year journalism and history student, born and raised in the suburbs of Burlington, Ont.

After trying out many high school activities, he found it was much more interesting to report on what other students were doing. So he started a school newspaper. After a co-op at the local paper, it was only a matter of time before he journeyed farther afield. That led him to Carleton, where he met an interesting bunch of people who worked at the Charlatan. Now he’s joined them as Features editor.

Cullen enjoys breakfast, suits, being tall, good stories, better ideas, and the lack of anyone else named Cullen Bird. He can be found on campus walking quickly to some unknown destination, although it is likely the Charlatan office.

His current dream is to one day be able to conduct view-changing investigative journalism.
