Erika Stark is a second-year journalism student who came to Carleton as a result of both a passion for writing and a desire to flee her hometown of Calgary, Alta. She quickly found new homes in the Ravens’ Nest and the Ice House, where she spent the majority of her spare time in first year.
When she isn’t reading about, reporting on or watching the Carleton Ravens play, Erika enjoys really long books, going to rock shows and listening to Q with Jian Ghomeshi. She has a mild obsession with the Tragically Hip and will defend the Arcade Fire’s Grammy win to her last breath.
Erika is also a loyal Calgary Flames fan and hopes to one day see her hometown team win the Stanley Cup (or at least make it past the first round).
