Chris Herhalt is the Charlatan's online editor for 2011-12. He's a fourth-year journalism student who enjoys photography, politics, driving, travelling and crying himself to sleep at night when his favourite soccer team (Arsenal) goes yet another year without winning a trophy.
As an intern at the Ontario Legislative Assembly, Chris has researched and written news articles for the Ottawa Citizen. He's also done audiovisual work alongside reporters from the Canadian Press. Chris won the Len Coates Award for automotive journalism in his third year of studies for a radio piece and analytical feature about free trade and the Canadian new car market.
As the online editor, Chris is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join him making the Charlatan more than just a newspaper. If you have ever wanted to shoot, edit or voice video or slideshow pieces, Chris is your guy.
Regardless of your level of experience, Chris will need your help fill the website with content.
