The six-foot-two defenceman signed a one-year contract to play with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League Aug. 4, according to The Examiner in Independence, Mo. Good will no doubt hope to help the team improve upon its defeat in the Turner Conference semifinals last season.
In his senior year at Carleton, Good tallied five goals and seven assists for the Ravens, who finished third in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) East but lost in the second round of OUA playoffs to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières Patriotes. In his entire career at Carleton, Good put up 34 points in 100 regular season games.
The Mavericks are the second mid-level professional hockey team to sign Good since he left the Ravens. After completing his university career in February, Good signed with the Florida Everblades of the East Coast Hockey League where he played six games, scoring one assist and recording eight penalty minutes, before the team eventually lost in the first round of the playoffs.
