The Ravens men’s water polo team had a wild season this year.
As defending OUA champs they started off strong, with high hopes for another victorious season. Experienced all-star Dejan Suletic led the pack, and a wave of success carried the boys all the way to the OUA championships.
The Ravens sunk McMaster in the semi-finals, leaving the pool with a 10-2 win, before going on to lose their championship title to the University of Toronto team by one point during a dramatic final showdown.
The two teams had developed a nasty rivalry by the end of the season, which made their last standoff all the more intense. The Ravens finished the season with a commendable 8-1-1 record and a hunger to bite back in 2009-10.
With talented fresh meat like Logan Seaman, who tallied 13 points during the season, now nicely marinated from experience, the team is ready to take on whatever challenges next year has to offer.
