The Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) constitutional board has ruled unanimously that presidential candidate Bruce Kyereh-Addo’s disqualification will stand, April 1.

“I’m disappointed in the constitutional board’s decision,” Kyereh-Addo said. “I thought that I had a good case.”

The board ruled that the “destruction of property” offence — the hole in the elections hallway wall — had “inconclusive” evidence and should not be held against him, as well as the Facebook messages offence. The remaining four decisions stand.

Kyereh-Addo said he would be pursuing the case at the Ontario Divisional Court.

“This is not the end of the road,” he said.
