UPDATE: Ottawa police have confirmed there was a death in a Carleton residence Aug. 17, though it has been reported the death was not suspicious.
An investigation had been launched after an incident involving Canadian Forces personnel in a Carleton residence, according to Cpl. Abela with the Canadian Forces Military Police,
Police said the investigation has concluded, and the death was not suspicious, according to an Ottawa Citizen article.
An ambulance, three Ottawa police cars, two paramedic vehicles and two vehicles from the department of university safety arrived at the east entrance of Stormont residence at about 5:30 p.m. Military police arrived shortly afterward.
The Ottawa Police Service would not comment any further on the incident, according to Const. Jean-Paul Vincelette.
The Ottawa police media relations department has a policy of not commenting on incidents involving domestic assault, sexual assaults involving children or incidents where someone has taken their own life, Vincelette said.
