This year’s upcoming orientation week, which will be themed CU at the Circus, will not be very different from past orientation weeks.

“The week itself is fairly much the same,” Ryan Anthony, one of the Frosh co-ordinators said.

“It’s the same structure it always has been. . . there’s still the concert, beach day, and all those games.”

New to this year’s Frosh Week is a play that will be put on by Carleton’s Sock ‘n’ Buskin theatre company, which will involve other orientation groups like EngFrosh and Sprott frosh,

Anthony said. In addition, there will be a more academically focused Academic Orientation Day that will go beyond the usual convocation.

The theme will mean carnival and circus-themed group names and activities.

However, Anthony said potential group names and activities have yet to be finalized, as orientation week organizers are currently waiting on equity services and graphic designers.

As the event is still in its planning stages, more information will be available in June.
