Lisa-Marie Milone, a third-year communications student running for a Faculty of Public Affairs councilor seat, said, “There should be a more effective link between students and CUSA.”

Milone is currently a volunteer for Foot Patrol, was an assistant head for Frosh Week and volunteers for CUSA as programming co-ordinator.

“It’s important that students' voices be heard,” said Milone.

She said she wants CUSA to get in touch with students through a new website and mass e-mails.

If elected, Milone said she wants to push for the creation of a sexual assault support centre at Carleton and create affordable tuition fees.
