Charlatan Publications Inc. is currently looking to fill a maximum of seven (7) student director and staff representative positions on the organization’s Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors oversees all administrative aspects of the organization, including but not limited to:
- Hiring and dismissal
- Editor-in-Chief and Section Editor elections
- Finances
- Constitution and Bylaw adjustments
The organization is looking to fill its Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Staff Representative (2) positions.
All Carleton students are invited to apply. If interested, please send a one-page (double-sided) CV and a 250-word personal statement about the applicant’s reasons for serving on the Board. The statement should also include whether the applicant has a specific interest in one of the positions listed above. All applications must include five (5) signatures from current Carleton students in nomination and their student numbers.

Due to the potential for a conflict of interest, according to the Charlatan’s bylaws and constitution, no individuals who will serve or have served as a representative for RRRA, CUSA, GSA or CASG within the past year can be appointed to the Board.
