The results of the 2021 Board of Governors (BoG) student governor elections were released today, Jan. 27.
There were six undergraduate students running for the two available positions, and four graduate students running for two positions.
The elected undergraduate representatives are Anastasia Lettieri, a second-year law and history student and Holden Heppler, a third-year political science student.
Next year’s graduate representatives are Allison Brown, a masters of political science student and Harjit Kaur Dalijit Singh Khalsa, a masters of civil engineering student.
The BoG is Carleton’s highest decision-making body, and is responsible for university finances, infrastructural changes on campus, and upholding the overall conduct of the school, according to its website.
Two undergraduate governors and two graduate governors are elected to represent the voices of students on the Board each year.

This year’s election also saw a rise in candidates, with a total of 10 candidates running compared to last year’s six.
