Ravens football players prepared for CFL draft

The Canadian Football League (CFL) Combine is the signature event leading up to the CFL Draft for the nation’s best prospects to show what they can bring to any of the league’s nine teams. Five Carleton Ravens football players were invited to compete at this year’s CFL Combine held from March 23-25 in Regina, Sask., while the 2017 CFL Draft will be held on May 7. The competing Ravens were wide receivers Nate Behar and Malcolm Carter, offensive lineman Kwabena Asare, and defensive backs Nathaniel Hamlin and Tunde Adeleke. Ravens narrowly defeat U of T in homecoming game

The Carleton Ravens men’s football team faced off against the University of Toronto (U of T) Varsity Blues on Sept. 19 at MNP Park for homecoming weekend, defeating them 19-15. Both teams started out slow, with neither team putting points up on the board in the first quarter. “We knew going into the game that they were ready,” said running back Jahvari Bennett. Starting right guard Eric Fowler hopped off the field with a leg injury near the end of the opening quarter. After the injury, the Ravens began to find momentum. Ravens football walk over Windsor Lancers

The Carleton Ravens football team improved their record to 2-1 on the season with a 62-16 thrashing of the host Windsor Lancers. With leading receiver Nate Behar out due to injury, defensive tackle Emmanuel Adusei and other players stepped up their game.
