Leaving the Nest: Kajami-Keane ends Ravens career as a champion

After two seasons with the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team, Kaza Kajami-Keane is set to graduate following two national championships and two Second-Team All-Canadian honours in two seasons. Previously, Kajami-Keane played with the Cleveland State Vikings and Illinois State Redbirds before transferring to Carleton. Over the course of 38 regular season games with the Ravens, Kajami-Keane averaged 14.8 points per game, along with 5.9 assists per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. Men’s basketball team looks for seventh title in a row

The Carleton men’s basketball team will begin the 2016-17 season with the same goal as they have every season: a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) national title. The Ravens are coming off an exceptional 2015-16 season, finishing the year with a 16-3 record and defeating the Calgary Dinos in the CIS title game to win their sixth straight championship and 12th title of the last 14 years. Ravens awarded at varsity banquet

After a successful 2015-16 season for Carleton Varsity Athletics, the teams gathered to celebrate and recognize the achievements made over the past year. The annual banquet recognized both individual and team accomplishments. Each team awarded an Alumni Award and a Team MVP, but the major awards given out were the Male and Female Graduating Athlete of the Year, Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Ravens capture sixth straight Final 8 Championship

It was a rollercoaster season for the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team, with Rob Smart taking over as head coach and plenty of roster turnover, including only one returning starter from last year. But the Ravens prevailed once again, defeating the University of Calgary Dinos 101-79 to win their sixth straight W.P. Ravens defeat Tigers to advance to CIS Finals

The Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 76-66 on March 19 in a semifinal matchup for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Final 8 National Championship Tournament. The number-two-seeded Ravens, looking for their sixth straight national finals appearance, came out of the gate with tremendous energy on defence. Carleton held the number-six-seeded Dalhousie Tigers scoreless in the first 3:46.
