Canadian country music star Dean Brody will be performing this year at Ottawa’s CityFolk Festival. The Charlatan got in touch with the nine-time Canadian Country Music Award winner to talk about his future plans and his music. The Charlatan (TC): So have you ever played at CityFolk before? Festival Blog: Matthew Good and Great Big Sea rock LeBreton Flats

The Canadian domination of the Bell Stage continued on into the eighth day of Bluesfest, as I had the pleasure of seeing both Matthew Good and Great Big Sea. After seeing Matthew Good in smaller venues and small festival stages in Ottawa, it was great to see him and his band get a crack at the main stage. It’s safe to say he didn’t disappoint, drawing what was the largest crowd I’ve ever seen him play for.
