Dan Robertson is a third-year global and international studies student specializing in communications. Born in the village of Peterborough, Ont., Dan put on skates at the young age of four. He ended up hating it and didn’t try again until he was six—to this day he blames those long two years as the reason he didn’t make it to the NHL. Once his dreams of winning the house league championship were crushed, Dan picked up a pen and paper and begin to cover local high school sports for his school newspaper. Noah is a curious-minded coffee lover from Summerside, a tiny city on Prince Edward Island. Though he often longs for the ocean, he couldn’t be happier studying and working here in our nation’s capital, a city he fell in love with years ago. He’s a self-proclaimed news junkie who spends much of his spare time sharing his thoughts in 140 characters or fewer and Instagramming pictures of mostly his meals. Hailing from the humble suburbs of Mississauga, Ont., Karen-Luz Sison is a fourth-year journalism student with a double minor in English and philosophy. She’s been a reporter for the Charlatan since her first year at Carleton, having written articles for News, National, Arts, and Op/Ed.
