George Bush speech cancelled ‘due to scheduling change’

Amidst protests from students, faculty and staff, Tyndale College, a small evangelical university in Toronto, cancelled a guest appearance from former U.S. president George W. Bush scheduled for Sept. 20, according to Maclean’s magazine.

Bush had been scheduled to speak at an invitation-only breakfast at the university, according to Maclean’s.

When two former students of the university caught wind of the event, they started investigating why news of the event was so silent among students on campus.

University of Alberta ends plagiarism investigation into medical dean

After allegations of plagiarism, the University of Alberta has finished investigating the graduation speech of a medical dean at the university but will not release the results, according to the Edmonton Journal.
